Terms of Service

1. Who can use Skilly

You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Skilly is provided to individuals. If you're using it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. The Skilly Beta program

Skilly is currently offered as a time-boxed beta program limited to the first 50 users. Joining the beta gives you:

• Access to the Skilly macOS application
• Three (3) hours of live voice teaching per calendar month
• The "beta for life" price lock described in Section 3

3. Pricing, billing, and the beta lock

The Skilly Beta is $19 per month, billed in advance. Billing is handled by our payments processor, Polar (polar.sh). You can cancel at any time from your Skilly account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

When your monthly allowance of three hours is exhausted, Skilly pauses live teaching until your next billing cycle. You are never charged above the subscription price — there are no overage fees.

As long as you remain a continuously active subscriber, your beta price ($19/month for 3 hours) is locked for the lifetime of your subscription, even after the beta ends and new pricing tiers are introduced. If you cancel and resubscribe later, the current public pricing applies.

4. Acceptable use

Please don't use Skilly to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract our prompts, models, or proprietary code
• Abuse, threaten, or harass anyone through the service
• Share a single account across multiple people
• Resell access to Skilly or its underlying APIs
• Attempt to circumvent the usage cap or billing system

5. Beta software disclaimer

Skilly is beta software. It may have bugs, downtime, and unexpected behavior. We'll try hard to keep it reliable, but we provide it "as is" and make no warranties about availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Skilly is a teaching assistant, not a replacement for your own judgment. Don't run destructive actions you don't understand just because Skilly suggested them.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, moelabs.dev (the maker of Skilly) is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time. We can terminate your account if you violate these terms or abuse the service. On termination, your access ends immediately and any remaining time in the current billing period is not refunded (except where required by law).

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to your account address. Continued use after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.
